Somos una mezcla de escarcha noruega, fuego chileno, desierto mexicano ardiente y el pulso inagotable de sus ciudades. Llevamos en la piel las historias de nuestra gente, nuestras familias y nuestras raíces, y las transformamos en voces universales a través de dramaturgias propias que escenificamos.

We are a blend of Norwegian frost, Chilean fire, burning Mexican desert, and the tireless pulse of its cities.We carry on our skin the stories of our people, our families, and our roots, and we transform them into universal voices through original dramaturgies that we bring to the stage.

ENG: Mezcolanza works with a rotating team across all its creations, bringing together actors, directors, and artists in lighting, music, and scenography. This fluid structure strengthens the company’s core vision: to generate a true mezcolanza where disciplines, perspectives, and artistic languages intersect, collide, and transform, allowing each project to give birth to new scenic worlds.

ESP: Mezcolanza trabaja con un equipo rotativo en todas sus creaciones, integrando actrices y actores, directoras y directores, así como creadoras y creadores de iluminación, música y escenografía. Esta estructura flexible refuerza el ideal central de la compañía: generar una verdadera mezcolanza donde el cruce de disciplinas, miradas y lenguajes artísticos se transforma en la creación de nuevos mundos escénicos.

ESP: Mezcolanza Teatro es una compañía internacional de teatro físico que nació en 2022 de la amistad entre Angy Avendano y Pilar Carre. Creamos desde el cuerpo, desde la mezcla y desde la necesidad de encontrarnos. Trabajamos con el gesto, el movimiento y la creación colectiva para construir un lenguaje escénico que no dependa de la palabra, que no excluya y que pueda ser compartido con cualquier espectador, más allá del idioma. Nos interesa ese lugar donde lo íntimo se vuelve común y donde la experiencia se abre a quien mira.

ENG: Mezcolanza Theater is an international physical theatre company founded in 2022 from the friendship between Angy Avendano and Pilar Carre. We create from the body, from mixture, and from the need to meet one another. We work with gesture, movement, and collective creation to build a scenic language that does not rely on words, that does not exclude, and that can be shared with any audience, beyond language. We are interested in that space where the intimate becomes common, and where experience opens itself to those who watch.
